Àndala means path in the Sardinian language—a structured way through the land, shaped by time and silence. It becomes the frame for your inner journey, where the outer landscape gently mirrors the unfolding of your deepest self.

Inner Transformation in a 5-day retreat

Nestled in the heart of the Mediterranean, this island is a sanctuary of wild landscapes and deep-rooted tradition. During this retreat, you’ll immerse yourself in Sardinia’s soulful rhythms—exploring rugged coastlines, ancient forests, and quiet mountain villages—while reconnecting with nature and the quiet wisdom of the land. The retreat unfolds on the land, grounding in it.

Therapy and CPD certificates will be provided.

Depth Psychology

Who is this retreat for?

This integrative-somatic retreat is rooted in a psychotherapeutic tradition that listens beyond words, where healing rises not from speaking, but from being, feeling, and deeply experiencing.

The therapists who shaped this retreat believe that true transformation begins in the spaces where language falls away and the body, breath, and soul are gently heard.

This retreat calls to:

  • Practitioners, seekers, and therapists who long to move beyond words and into deeper knowing.

  • Medical and mental health professionals who yearn to reach the untouched places within themselves.

  • Healing practitioners ready to pause, breathe, and tend tenderly to their own inner landscapes

Small Group

In the warmth of a small group, a gently held space emerges—one where depth, safety, and heartfelt connection can naturally unfold. Here, each person is invited to be seen, heard, and felt in their wholeness. The intimacy of the setting fosters mutual attunement and emotional resonance, allowing for personal expression and meaningful, tailored connection. Within this quietly powerful container, self-exploration deepens, relational wounds soften, and the presence of the true self begins to emerge, held in the presence of others.

The Outer Journey

You will receive a sacred invitation to return to the wisdom of the Earth and the stillness within. Held in a landscape of raw, elemental beauty, you will find a space to slow down and listen—to the wind, the trees, the sea, and the quiet voice of your soul. Nature becomes a mirror for the inner journey, you become a mirror for its majesty, guiding you back to your essence. Through shared ritual, silence, and presence, you are gently reawakened to your belonging in the great web of life. Here, healing becomes a spiritual unfolding.

Ogliastra

Santa Maria Navarrese, a quiet village in Ogliastra, on Sardinia’s eastern coast, is a land of raw beauty and timeless stillness, where rugged mountains lean into the vast embrace of the sea. Here, the elements meet in their purest form—stone, salt, wind, and sun.

You will be staying at the welcoming Hotel Nicoletta in Santa Maria Navarrese, offering spacious single rooms designed to support rest and reflection. Just a short walk from the shoreline, the hotel is cradled among ancient olive trees, breathing the same air that has carried stories for centuries.

Sabine Tendas

Counselling Psychologist (HCPC), Certified Transactional Analyst Psychotherapist (UKCP), Dance Movement Therapist (ADMTE)

Gill is an independent psychotherapist and tutor with a heartfelt passion for weaving creativity into the therapeutic process. With a gentle, grounded presence, she offers a space where you can explore your inner world through the expressive power of art.

As your facilitator on the Àndala Journey, Gill invites you to engage in creativity not as a pursuit of perfection, but as a path to self-discovery. These sessions are rooted in emotional truth and the innocence of pure expression—where art becomes a mirror for feeling, not performance. Here, your story unfolds in colour, shape, and honesty—free from judgment, rich with possibility.

Giovanni is a psychologist and psychotherapist with a deep-rooted passion for reflection, inner work, and the subtle layers of the psyche. Grounded in the principles of depth psychology, he has honed a finely attuned capacity to listen beneath the surface—tracking unconscious processes, symbolic language, and emotional undercurrents.

As your facilitator, Giovanni gently guides both personal and group reflections, weaving together individual stories and collective themes in an ongoing dialogue. His presence fosters an atmosphere of emotional honesty and psychological depth, where what is unspoken can find its voice. Through his work, you are invited to meet the truth of your innermost self.

Sabine is a psychologist, psychotherapist, and dance movement therapist with a deep passion for the body’s unspoken language. She believes that the therapeutic use of movement allows to experiencing oneself differently getting in touch with resilience, body's wisdom, and new possibilities. What words cannot carry will be spoken through gestures—and released through movement.

As your facilitator on the Àndala Journey, Sabine will invite you to listen to your body with curiosity, respect, and compassion. To her, the body is both a keeper of old stories and a gateway to authenticity and inner freedom. Her work is grounded in creating spaces of safety, presence, and permission, where transformation can unfold.

Authentic Traditional Food

Sardinian cuisine is a sacred expression of earth and tradition—cheese, grains, and herbs shaped by sun and time. To eat mindfully here is to partake in an ancient ritual, honouring the cycle of life. Each bite becomes a prayer, a return to simplicity, presence, and the wisdom of the ancestors.

Pre and Post Retreat Support

We offer this support to ensure a safe, held space where trust and transformation can unfold.

Pre-retreat support

Once you join the journey, you’ll be gently welcomed with a one-on-one session with a facilitator called The Pathway Conversation. This exchange allows us to truly see you, creating a safe and aligned circle for all. It’s the first step in grounding your path and opening the gateway within.

Post-retreat support

The journey doesn’t end as you leave. One and two months after the retreat, we’ll gather again in virtual circle—two Zoom sessions to reflect, reconnect, and weave the wisdom of your experience more deeply into your life’s tapestry.

Discovery call

A discovery call is a fundamental first step—a space to share your intentions, hopes, and questions to ensure that this journey resonates with your heart and soul before you commit.

Unfolding

Rooted in the ancient breath of the land, this retreat will not be held within the walls of a resort, but will carry you on daily pilgrimages to handpicked places—chosen for their evocativeness, their whispers of memory, and their power to cradle deep transformation.

Circle Gathering

Each day will be anchored by a group space shaped by the wisdom of Transactional Analysis and the depth of Jungian traditions. Here, the circle becomes our holding frame—a place to gather, reflect, and weave together the threads of each journey. In this shared space, insights deepen, connections are nurtured, and the silent language of the heart is heard and honoured.

Embodying the Journey

Drawing from the roots of Dance Movement Psychotherapy, the group will be invited to explore the landscapes—both inner and outer—through the wisdom of the body. Embodiment will stand at the heart of the experience, offering a path back to presence, grounding, and the untold stories carried in muscle, bone, and breath.

Art's Pathway

Throughout this journey, each participant will be invited to express the unfolding of their inner world through the mediums of art. It will serve as a vessel for what words alone cannot hold, becoming a bridge between self and other, a thread weaving personal story into the greater tapestry of our shared experience.

Rooted Nourishment

From the first breath of your journey, food will be a thread woven through each day. Rooted in the pure, untamed traditions of the land, every meal will be a ritual—slow unfolding, a call to listen to the body's wisdom, to nourish the soul, and to move in harmony with the ancient rhythms that still hum beneath the surface of life.
